Pan card application

25 August 2017 Main unit has a PAN card. it has one sub unit which does not have pan card. the sub unit has received notice why it does not have pan.Please help me with the section or the relevant explanation that sub unit is not required to hold pan

25 August 2017 One Entity One PAN. A company may have its unit or branches at several places but the company will have only one PAN.

25 August 2017 IT IS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE. THE MAIN UNIT HAS ITS NAME GEORGE COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE AND THE SUB UNIT HAS ITS MANE GEORGE COLLEGE DEPT OF EDUCATION

25 August 2017 If both are separate entity then separate PAN card needs to be applied. PAN card is basically for payment of Income Tax and filling of Income Tax Return.
