03 August 2010 Old PAN Card is damaged. Want an new PAN Card.
Please suggest the Process

03 August 2010 Visit tin.nsdl.com and follow link for PAN. Then follow link for Reprint of PAN. Instructions are easy to follow. Only take care in writing names of yourself, your father etc. Ensure you enter data in correct format.

Submit only documents from the list provided. Do not submit anything else as that will be totally disregarded and application kept pending.

03 August 2010 apply in form 49B (correction form)
with xerox of pancard or letter when you received pancard and and also submit documents once again which you given in new pancard,

03 August 2010 Visit your nearest NSDL Centre and apply for a re-print of PAN card in the form "Request For New PAN Card Or / And Changes Or Correction in PAN Data"

Along with the form, you have to submit your address proof & identity proof and also the proof of PAN allotment like photocopy of PAN card if available, or PAN allotment letter.

Alternatively, you can apply for PAN re-print online as suggested by Sunil above. In such case the required documents along with a DD for Rs. 94 should be sent to NSDL centre in Pune.

Correction Mr. Murtaza - Form 49B is Form of application for allotment of Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN) & not PAN.
