29 December 2014 Dear experts I would like to request that one of my brother intended to file the IT returns surprisingly he came to know his pan no does not existing. He contact with the concerned pan center over phone he was inform that his earlier no was replaced with the other pan number. In this connection I request yo to please let me how could I get the replaced pan number enable to file the returns for the assessment years 2013-14 and 2014-15. I am eagerly waiting your early reply. Thanking you yours faithfully Chandrasekhar

29 December 2014 you can search on income tax site. if PAN is not available then you send the letter to the pan deptt for enquiry regarding the PAN you have. if they tell PAN is not available then you can file recitification of PAN.
