02 August 2012 I Have lost my PAN Card & i don't have photocopy nor PAN number of my PAN Card. How can i get the PAN number. Is there a way out ??? ?? My name on PAN card does not match with my original name(Spelling Mistake) & hence income tax site is not helpful.
Please help.

02 August 2012 Your spelling mistake has given you an opportunity to apply a fresh. For the old one write a physical letter to Income tax department stating the facts you mentioned in this query along with a request to cancell the number.

02 August 2012 You have lost the card. Okay. Have you not used the pancard for any of the services, like investment in mutual fund, IT return, Bank's KYC norms etc., Intimation letter from the Department about the allotment is also lost????

You apply for a fresh one and dont use the old one if it is found on a later date. That is the only remedy.
