Hai,
I want to know can a MINOR apply for PAN? If so who will sign in the application form and the photograph of minor can be affixed? The Guardian need to fill any column in the place of Representative assesse? Please clarify these doubt? A minor can apply for PAN card?

Section 160 of IT Act, 1961 provides that a non-resident, a minor, lunatic, idiot, and court of wards and such other persons may be represented through a Representative Assessee. In such cases, application for PAN will be made by the Representative Assessee.
