Dear expert,
One of my client PAN was applied on 31-03-2012. However on 30-04-2012, PAN is still under process. I have contected on TIN customer care, they told me that they have forwarded the PAN application to department on 05-04-2012. I am wondering, why they are taking so long time ?
Please advise me.

Possibilities are:
1. Some time it takes time so nothing to worry.
2. Courier did not found anybody at your given address so the document returned.
Keep in touch with TIN-NSDL.

You may wait for a week or so. Generally, in the cases where particulars furnished in the Form are found correct and perfectly match with the evidences annexed, 20-25 days time is a normal duration.
