It would be helpful to know your opinion, views on the following

When A Pvt Ltd company changes its name and MCA duly issues the CoI approving name change. What happens to the PAN Card of the old company.

Do we have to apply for a new PAN card and surrender the old one

or the necessary changes can be requested at TIN center in the OLD PAN Card so that PAN is meant for new entity and no remains the same.

Since there is change in name hence you need to change your name for PAN & TAN also.

04 December 2012 You have to must name correction in pan database.. So fill and submit the pan correction form according to new name. New pan card will be issue to you on same pan number.
