10 October 2014 As per Rule 2C of ST (Determination of Vlaue ) Rules, 2006 value of service portion in case of outdoor catering wherein food is supplied is 60% of the total amount charged.

Thus service tax is applicable on 60% of total amount charged for outdoor catering...
