Can we opt now composition scheme now? If yes , from when will be the same effective.

So for eg : If i file intimation in the month of Jan , then the same will be effective from 01/02/2018? If yes , then 1% levy also should be from 01/02/2018 or from filing of intimation date?

01 January 2018 Section 10 does not provide for any effective date and therefore, effective date would be the date of filing intimation
