TDS certificate was issued mentioning payment was made. if the Payment is made the next year and TDS deducted pre year, what is the remedy

At present TDS provisions. We Cannot issue the TDS certificate without mentioning payment details.So any one cannot issue TDS certificate like that

TDS is to be deducted payment made or credited which ever is earlier. In your case you have credited amount then you have to deduct TDS and issue TDS certificate as per rule
