I have filed my income tax return online but get lesser refund than claimed and as shown in Form 26AS now what to do please suggest....

Check the status of all the tax deduction in form 26AS are challan matched status. some time mistake in tds return the deduction comes as unmatched challan. incase unmatched found then ask deductor to correct the same

As per recent notification by CBDT if all the tax deducted at source is timely paid to Central govt then in case of mismatch AO will have to allow the tds credit after verification of same.
