06 December 2012 A PVT LTD CO. PAID SERVICE TAX OF Rs 1100000 in F.Y 2011-12
SO IN F.Y 2012-13 the co was liable to pay service online but the co. has been depositing the same manually...

What are the consequences..???

06 December 2012 It will take lot of time to convince the service tax people to give you the credit for that amount. Be prepared for APPEAL in that case.

06 December 2012 Now a days many BANKERS have made the arrangements to make e payment on behalf those people who do not want to opt for e banking facility. Please make use of the same in due course of time.

06 December 2012 You should make epayment of service tax and inform Range Superitendent regarding payment made through challan manually and ask him to refund the said amount
