online PAN Application

06 December 2010 I am applying for PAN directly on NSDL website and I need to compulsarily provide the following -
Area Code
AO type
Range Code
AO No.

I am applying for a Partnership Firm with name starting with the letter 'F' and regd office in Delhi.

The facilitation centres have not been able to provide the details and I do not wish to apply through them.

I believe that there is a book which has the details.

Can someone please go through the book and give me the details?

06 December 2010 While filling the application online itself the A.O./ Range can be selected, please check correctly

07 December 2010 There are 269 A.O./ Range details, how do I know which corresponds to the partnership firm I am applying for?

07 December 2010 you need to check the address of the Partnership Firm and select the AO accordingly

08 December 2010 Can you please explain with help of a specific example of an address in Delhi? because as far as I can see, correlation between AO and address has not been provided in the online list.
