Ommission in filling of return

i had filed an income tax return for an individual in which i forgot to give the details of advance tax paid. so what should i do to rectify the above ommission.

You should file a revised return and claim credit of the advance tax.

But the message that is flashed is that the return is not defective u/s 139(9)

Use Internet Explorer for E-Filing and check weather Revised Return mentioned in the Generated XML File.
