We often come across provisions in Various Acts that "the Govt. will notify in the Official Gazette"
I wish to ask:
(a)What exactly is this Official Gazette?
(b)At what intervals is it issued?
(c) What are basically its contents?
(d)Can a specimen copy be visited online or is it available in Hard Copy in the market?

Hi,
Whatever the Government decides in Parliament, A common may not know.
For this purpose, Govt publishes it's notifications, rules etc. in Official Gazette.
In addition, its a statutory requirement to publ;ish rules etc. in Official Gazette.
Both Soft & Hard copies will be avialable.
But I dont the exact source.
