Octroi Duty at Mumbai

24 September 2009 Our company is based at Hyderabad and we have branch at Mumbai. We on job work purposes regularly send cinematogrpahic camera equipment, film boxes, Hard disk drives to Mumbai and which can be returned to hyderabad once the job is completed. Do we require to pay octroi duty on each and every time. Is there any clause in the Octroi duty act to get exemption from paying if the goods movement is from head office to branch office. please also provide whethere there is any site which the Octroi act is available
