Dear experts,
I have received a notice U/s 221(1) of rs 10475 for fy 2008_2009.I was working in a private bank in that year and tds was deducted. I had filed the itr manually but have no record of the same neither I have form 16. When . Check the online 26as I found that bank have deducted rs 10482 and deposited the tds.but when I see the details on income tax website of form 26 . Found that bank was depositing tds even in 2014 for fy 2008_2009. I have no record of itr and neither I have form 16 when contacted the bank they are saying it will take time to get the record.Pls guide what should I do.should I go myself to ito with screen shot of form 26 or should I take the help of ca.

Put all these facts in a letter and send it to Income Tax Department.
