Notice under 143(2) of income tax act 1961

Sir ---
As per the 143(1) (assessment order) for A.Y.2014-2015 my firm have received refund also. The same confirmed with bank statement . But on 09.09.2015 we have received notice under sec.143(2) from Income tax department for the assessment year 2014-15. We think assessment is over but now received notice. I am in confusion. Please clarify is it correct or not?

143(1) intimation is not completion of audit. as long as the notice was issued as served before 30 September 2015, it is valid
