Dear sir ,
I have received a notice u/s 271(1)(c)
What is actually it was ……
I have deposited the tds on salary deducted late i.e. after filling of my Income Tax Return
Whether the penalty for the same will be levy or not
If levy the how it can be cleared ..plz guide

all taxes due on the return shud be deposited before filing of return

It might be possible that you have not submitted your return. Till return is submitted your income is concealed u/s 271(1)(c). Kindly check up the assessing officer the reasons for giving you 271(1)(c).
Generally this notice is given when assessment is completed u/s 143(3) and if additions are made in the returned income otherwise notice u/s 148 is to be issued.
