18 October 2010 Hi,

What is the remedy for the notice for notice received u/s 159/166/210/220 of the Companies Act,1956 for non-filing of annual return and other submissions.

Now can we file the same for last 2-3 years at a time,if yes kindly advise.

18 October 2010 Write a letter to ROC requesting them to give some time for filing of returns and also state that you are will to go for compounding u/s 621A.

Then file the returns along with delay fine. And wait for a letter from ROC.

With Reference to the above cited subject, the company hereby acknowledges the receipt of the notice for default made under section 159/166/210/220 of the Companies Act, 1956.

In this regard we request your good office to grant us a period of 30 days to comply with the said default.

Further the company is also ready to go for compounding under section 621A of the Companies Act if required and hence we request your good office not to commence any legal proceedings against the company under any applicable law.
