i want to know what documents are to be taken to assessing officer when he has given notice u/s 142.

Assessing officer might have mentioned the list of documents to be produced. if not you can carry the
1. Income tax return complete set with ITR
2. Financials statement for the given period
3. Income tax calculation
4. Incase tax audit applicable, tax audit report Form 3CA & 3CD
