16 May 2017 I Have a business of building material. During the financial year 2015-16 A Y 2016-17 my gross receipt was 330000 and expenses is rs 70000. i also investment in section 80c rs 39000.
now i have received notice u/s 139(9) read with 44AA. I DOTN UNDER STAND THE REASON of notice please clarify.

16 May 2017 Notice U/S 139(9) is issued where the return is considered as defective.
44AA refers to persons who are required to maintain books of accounts.

Your return has been considered as defective and hence you have received the notice. If you do not rectify the return within 15 days the return shall be treated as invalid.

16 May 2017 Opt for 44AD and declare profit not less than 8% within 15 days, no need to maintain books of accounts.
