Dear Experts,
I got notice u/s 139(9) from CPC, Bengaluru. Error described is 'No receipt of income has been offered in any heads of income for the TDS/TCS claimed in return'.
TDS claimed is for Interest of Bank FD which is already offered by me in Profit & Loss Account credit side under INTEREST INCOME.
What is the resolution available to the same? Please help as I have to comply within 15 Days.

Please cure the defect in such a way that the 'interest income' appears under the head'income from other sources'.

Can I remove interest income from PGBP and show it under IOS? This won't affect my taxable income also as removing interest from PGBP will lead me to loss and this loss will be set off against IOS. Will this do?
