Yes it is necessary to send notice of AGM to stock exchange. Also notify date of book closure.

As per clause 31 you have to send 6 copies of annual report to the stock exchange.

28 August 2009 Yes, it is compulsory. Notice of AGM has to be sent 21 clear days (excluding the date of sending the notice and meeting) before the Meeting.

The said Meeting notice should be duly signed by the Company Secretary of the Company.
