28 August 2010 We have a defunct company and are filing the annual returns and balance sheets for the last 8 years since there has been no activity. While we are moving an application under EES 2010, we have received the above notice for non filing of annual returns and accounts for the year 2009. ( so have many companies I learnt) please advise course of action

28 August 2010 Show cause notice is not a bar to proceed with EES,2010. Try to complete EES,2010 on or before 31/8/2010 and reply to the referred notice with in 15 days from the date of notice.
