non receip of filing confirmation

18 February 2011 hi friendzzzz

i filed ITR - 3 for the assessment year 2008-09...he took ITR V acknowledement and send it to Income tax department 3 months back....till now i did not receive any confirmation copy......what should i do????/??

Please reply me...as early as possible

20 February 2011 You must have filed IT return for Asst Yr 2008-09 before 31st March, 2010 and ITR-V has been sent in the month of November,2010 ie 3 months back. I think the time for sending ITR-V for Asst yr 2008-09 has expired and the return will be treated as not filed.
