01 November 2011 the AO has not processed the return under section 143(1) for AY 2008-09 & refund amount is more than rs 1 lacs how to claim such refunds

02 November 2011 To check the status of their refund, taxpayers can log in at https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/refundstatuslogin.html.

If there is no refund order issued, You can visit ITO and inquire. Filing an application to income tax ombudsman may be very helpful. Else, You can file an RTI application to know the status of your refund.

05 July 2012 is there any circular /notifuication or under which section such return can be processed if the time for processing has been barred u/s 143(1)
