13 August 2013 If gross Income from Salary & interest (No any other income) is below taxable limit, i.e If gross Salary without any deductions is 1,50,000/- p/a and interest income 500/- p/a in this situation need to file Income tax return?

as per section 139(1) it is mandatory to file return only when income before chapter VIA deductions more than basic exemption limit

So in your case it is not mandaory to file return
