Non filling of ER-1 Return & non payment of duty in PLA

May i Know, suppose we have not paid a excise duty ( I will pay duty next month)
Can i file ER-1 Return?

If delay of filling the return (ER-1) how much penalty we should pay?

How much(%)interest we should pay for delay of pay of Excise Duty?

02 May 2011 Dear Hitesh,
You have file ER-I Return without any doubt. but u have given to central excise authorities Default letter with ER-I Return to mention how much u have liable to pay with kindly manner.

U have pay Excise duty before 5th of next month with interest of 18% persent how much u have Deafault.
Example : for the month of April-11, u have to pay 5th May without Interest.
If u are default to paid the duty u will be paid before 5th of June with 18% Interest. The days are calculated from 5th May to before 5th June.

IMPORTANT : If you are not pay before 5 th of the next month...! u are listed in Deafault payers list. and Central Excise Deafault sections may applicable to you. and you have pay Excise duty for Each consignment in PLA and then you have Remove goods with the permission of central excise authorities.
