Is it compulsory for Nominee Director has to attend the regular Board of Director meetings?

It is not compulsory for the Nominee Director to attend all the BOD meetings. He will be treated as if he is a normal Director. His significance is that he will think both from the Bankers point of view and the Company's point of view and gives his valuable suggestions with his practical exposure in his own field. But he may not invoive in day to day activities of the Companies Business Affairs and he has Right to make Decisions and involve in the Decision Making process of the BOD by Voting
