10 November 2009 In a Pvt. Ltd. Company it is having 3072 nos of total shares. Out of which Govt is having 600 nos of shares. In the Article of Association it is written that there should be minimum 7 nos of Directors. Now how many Directros Govt can appoint.

10 November 2009 I believe your company is already having minimum 2 directors as promoter directors.

So remaining all 5 directors may be appointed by govt. subject to the provisions of articles and shareholders agreements, if any.
