IS IT MANDATORY TO HAVE CURRENT ACCOUNT FOR OBTAINING MVAT REGISTRATION FOR NEW BUSINESS OR VOLUNTARY REGISTRATION

A bank account in the name of a business should always be a current a/c.For taking up a registration under VAT bank a/c details are required although not mandatory.A registering authority can insist on it....mjk
