03 September 2011 i am working in a manafacturing company.we like to start a new unit in next year.i want to know what i want to do.i want to inform or register to any tax department.

04 September 2011 A new unit can be started only if Memorandum of Association of the Company object's clause includes the object of the new unit, if not Memorandum of Association is to be altered.

Accounts are to be maintained company as a whole including new units transactions.

You have to include new unit in your VAT registration similarly in PF, ESIC Profession Tax etc

06 September 2011 Yest the expert is correct. You have to first open a office at the place where you want to open a new unit. If it is an independent unit then you have to procure separate licence for opening a manufacturing unit at the place it is proposed then procure all other licences and it can be started.
