19 February 2014 As icsi has introduced new syllabus from current year.should i concentrate only on study materials? or request you to suggest any other materials help me for preperation.

19 February 2014 For exam success I would suggest you to have balance between books and notes.
First use institute study material along with scanner to have the idea of important topics and chapters. After giving them sound reading from Institute study mat…use class notes or other notes.

Notes of Sangeet and Deepak Gajrani are good for preparation.

Tax Laws--Girish Ahuja (for theory) & V.K. Singhania for practical problems

General and commercial law==Study Material + Scanner problems with ICSI Guidelines solutions of previous exam especially for practical problems and their presentation.
S.S. Gulshan is also a good Book for GCL

Company Accounts == Shukla & Grawal + Question given in Study Material

Cost and Mgt. Accounts == S.N. Maheshwari + Question given in Study Material

Company law== Munish Bhandari + Study Material + Scanner

Security law and compliances--Study Material + Scanner with ICSI Guidelines of previous exam

Economic and Labour laws.— Study Material + Scanner with ICSI Guidelines of previous exam
