We have started a new shop in panvel and not informed the sale tax officer yet, i wanted to ask that is there a need to ammend the vat certificate, if yes, what is the procedure?

If you are already having TIN No. then you have to incorporate additional place of business in your VAT CST RC by submitting application and proof of new business.
If you are not allready registered then inform STO only after crossing turnover of Rs.5 lacs by taking registration
