New PAN card required or not on conversion into LLP?

We have converted our Private Limited Compnay into LLP.
Do we have to apply for the new PAN card or we have to just apply for doing the correction in our existing PAN card in the name of Private Limited Compnay.
Please suggest.

Since the constitution of the company has changed to a firm in my view u need to apply for new PAN.

You will have to surrender the PAN card issued to the pvt ltd company.

you must have new pan card having category of LLP and the old has to be surrenderred with the covering letter to intimate thedepartment about the conversion.

There is no Category of LLP as such for type of person. It has to be as firm only and not of LLP as there is no such thing given seperately.
