New GST registraion - Nature of possession of premises

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
If you're trying to register for GST using your home address, but the property is in your deceased father's name, you'll face issues. The authorities require the property to be legally in your name or your mother's name, and utility bills must match. A consent letter from your mother, even if she's the legal owner, won't suffice for GST registration without the title documents being transferred.

30 July 2020 I want to take new gst registration on my own home address but problem is property is my father name and he is expired 2 month ago. What will i select under Nature of possession of premises & which document to be uploaded. Please guide.

30 July 2020 YOU HAVE TO TRANSFER THE TITLE DOCUMENTS EITHER ON YOUR MOTHER NAME OR YOUR OWN NAME AND CHANGE THE UTILITY BILL OTHERWISE YOU CANNOT DO REGISTRATION

30 July 2020 @C.bakshi - Can we upload consent letter and do sign my mother due to she is legally owner of property.

31 July 2020 DEPT. WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS UNTIL PROPERTY IS NOT ON HER OWN NAME AND ON THE BASIS OF EVIDENCES YOUR GST NO WILL BE ACCEPTED.
