Need one formula in excel

14 December 2011 Dear all,
My question is excel related. Question is I have salary structure below;
1. Fixed Salary Rs.4000/- on 4500 entries done
2. 4501 to 7500 = 2999 entries done incentive 0.50 paisa on 2999 entries
3. If cross above 7500 then (4501 to 7501= 3000) incentive 0.75 paisa per entry instead of 0.50 paisa per entry.
4. 10000 onwards entry 0.85 paisa per entry.

I want one formula in excel to count the above.

Also, clarify whether the incentive is to be paid on the TOTAL number of entries or only on the excess entries.

For instance, for 8000 entries, the incentive will be 8000*0.75 or (3000*0.5 + 1000*0.75)
