In case of dealers whom VAT no. is alloted how can I ascertain the name of the properietor/ partner of the firm.

VAT No. is not like PAN No. you ascertain only Sales Tax office, where registration

THE NOTIFICATION OF VAT REGISTRATION ( VAT150B) OR THE VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE FORM VAT 105 BOTH CONTAIN ONLY NAME OF DEALER AND PLACE OF BUSINESS AND REGN. NO. AND PLACE OF VAT CIRCLE .
FROM THE VAT REGN. CERT. WE CANNOT FIND PROP. NAME OR PARTNER NAME.
THESE DETAILS MAY BE FOUND OUT ONLY ON ENQUIRY FROM THE VAT CIRCLE OFFICE IN WHOSE JURISDICTION THE DEALER FALLS, AS THE VAT V CIRCLE IS CLEARLY STATED ON THE REGN. CERT.
