I CHECKED WITH "KNOW YOUR PAN"

IT SHOW HIS FULL NAME AS LAST NAME

LAST NAME IS MANDETORY FOR PAN APPLICATION AND WHEREAS FIRST NAME IS APPLICABLE FOR GST REGISTRATION.

SO WHAT WILL BE SOLUTON FOR PROCESSING REGISTRATION.
