28 October 2009 Can a dealer who has been following composition scheme at the beginning of the year opt out of composition scheme during middle of that year if so please specify the procedure. and wether it is mandatory for a dealer to follow composition scheme during the life of the business once opted.

Dealer cannot change from composition scheme in the middle of the year. however a dealer can change the sam at the start of the financial year by intimating the same in writting to the officer.
