is their any chance to extend the date of VAT audit. As the message received from Sales tax practitioner's association of Maharashtra on 09.11.2012, "Due dt of VAT Audit extended to 15.01.2013." We are also learn from reliable sorces finance misitry approved this change and due notification in this regards is under preparation.
We need your expert opinion on this development as the last date is fast approching.

I had also heard about the extension and notification for that was supposed to come after diwali vacation, however even after expiry of 2 days post diwali, there is no such notification.So it is doubtful now. So my opinion is that chances are there for extension but nothing can be concluded till the time such notification comes.
