Can an article student become a mutual fund or insurance agent during his articleship time?If yes whether he has to surrender his license once he becomes a CA?

09 August 2009 He cannot do any activity while in articleship which is connected with business/profession. You can take the same in name of another family member. On becoming CA you are deemed to be Category IV Merchant Banker and hence you can have license from SEBI and carry out such activities.
