Although new service copyright service was intorduced in 2010, but activity/work covered under Section 13(a) of Copyright Act, 1957 are specifically kept out of tax net. Following is the clause:
'Original Literary, Dramatic, Musical & Artistic works'
Therefore, musician are not covered under any taxable service.
