Municipal valuation for calculating income from house proper

15 July 2012 Dear Expert,

I need to compute Income from House property for a property which i have let out. For the purpose of arriving at Gross Annual Value, How do i find out the municipal valuation of the property and whether the property is covered under the standard rent control act?

The property is situated in NERUL in thane district of maharashtra.

PLease advise.
