Our company has MS Office License ...Do i need to Capitalise it or Expense it

05 January 2017 It depends on, whether the amount is material and the licence period. If the licence period is less than 1 year or the amount is immaterial treat it as expense. If the amount is material and licence term is over 1 year treat it as an an intangible asset and amortise it over the licence period.
