Can you please brief me about the rule no.1 under explanation of securing marks?The 2nd rule is about .5 being converted to a whole number.I need you to explain the rule no. 1.

if that was for direct entry explnation...
then rule no 1 means.. those papers which are just compulosry to pass, but whose marks wil not inculuded in the total marks
like in mah bcom... i had one paper of general english... we need to pass that paper, but its marks doesnt get included in the total marks
