25 July 2014 HI...a person worked in foreign country and transfer the money in india ....he is working on work permit.....now in which ITR form we can filled his IT return ?
and under which heading ?

26 July 2014 assuming the person tax status is non-resident, only income earned in india shall be taxable in india. The form for return shall depend on the basis of nature of income earned in India.

26 July 2014 hey...thanks for your prompt reply....but i have little confusion.
he is resident of india.
he works on work permit which is renewed every 3 years.
whatever money earned by him he is transfer that whole amount in his india saving bank account and now he wants to file the IT return.
under which ITR form and which heading can we file his return?

26 July 2014 if he is resident, the the whole of the income shall be taxed in india. you can claim credit for the taxes paid outside India. please use ITR - 2
