23 December 2009 Can any one tell me Where to Study for PCC may 10 from the Module provided by ICAI or From the authors books available at bookstores.
And the Modules are Outdated can we get it changed?

23 December 2009 The question raised is relevant to all students.

ICAI study materials should be referred first. Conceptaul part is made clear in modules. If your study materials are old; you can get new one from the chapter office/regional office by paying a nominal amount.

After going through study materials, you should refer books. A particular book which is suitable to one student may not suit others.

The example is Singhania in Tax Laws. Most of the experts will suggest this book but there is no reading pleasure ! T N Manoharan gives that pleasure but does not cover the subject to the extent required.

It might also be possible that in one particular subject some topics are good in one book and other topics are good in another book.

So you should refer modules and books smartly. Better form a group of 4-5 students.

Regular guidance and updation is also a MUST to qualify CA examination in first attempt.
