Mistaken in e-filled with the wrong name for a.y 2013-14.

respected sir,
i have e-filled with the wrong name and i wish to opt rectification option but i have not any kind of reference no. otherthan verification form of incometax which is generated by system at the time of original e-filled. so guid me how can i do as i said with my problem.

First of all you need not have to revise your return as in income tax assessee is recognised on the basis of the PAN and not on the basis of his name. Still if you want to revise the return you may revise it on the basis of the efiling acknowledgement number you have with you. You have to give the reference of efiling acknowledgement number in the revised return
